63-Year-Old Seriously Injured In 2-Vehicle Long Island Crash

One person suffered severe injures in a two-vehicle Long Island crash.

A 63-year-old man operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in the collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old man, according to Nassau County Police. 

The motorcycle was heading eastbound on Atlantic Avenue when it was struck by the Jeep which was heading westbound on Atlantic Avenue, attempting to make a left on Lincoln Avenue. 

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his legs and was transported to a local area hospital. 

The driver of the jeep remained at the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
